  I visited this location this afternoon with my daughter. The cashier was very friendly and extra kind to my daughter, which I appreciated. However, the food prep was unsanitary and concerning. A befuddled trainee was making our food and repeatedly leaned his apron fully onto our sandwiches while assembling them. He also used the sandwich knife to cut open plastic packaging on new turkey, pushing the plastic into the meat. I was uncomfortable enough that we left without our order. I won’t be returning to this location.

  First, I'm a Jimmy John's brand advocate and have made Jimmy John's my lunch go-to for over a decade, as a result I visit Jimmy John's locations all over the place. This particular Jimmy John's is closest to my house and I would give anything to see improvements but it's absolutely terrible. 1) It's beyond slow. Any time of day, any day of the week.. there is ALWAYS a line. Usually a 10 minute wait or so. 2) The unsweetened tea has been rancid on more than one occasion.. not sure what they did to it but it made both me and my wife sick just smelling it. tasted to confirm it was definitely bad. 3) there is always trash in the floor behind the counter which is available as soon as you walk in (because of the angle of the room) - papers, meat, lettuce, all over the place back there.. definitely not what you want to see when you walk in. 4) the last few times I went (i don't go to that location any more), they have had no chips. and this was over the period of weeks. Not sure if that's a covid supply issue or not, but other locations had them. I now drive 4 miles out of the way if i want to go to Jimmy John's to avoid this location. I should also mention, I'm a 48 year old male and run my own business and NEVER take the time to write and complain like this. I'm far from a Karen.. but with that rotten tea the last time I have had it with this location and want to see it meet Jimmy John's standards for selfish reasons (it's closest to me). UPDATE: Jimmy John's main brand reached out to me and gave me the contact information for this location - so I filled out the contact form and basically restated this review... 2 months ago, no response. FYI, there is a Jimmy Johns in Schaumburg (less than 2 miles from this one) that has a drive through and awesome service.

  Busy during lunch if you visit in store. Very fast to deliver to my office though.
