  The food was very good. I had wings, Mac and cheese, candi yams, corn bread and fried green tomatoes. Due to it being Easter it was packed, we barely got a seat, but I still believe they need a bigger seating area. I would order from them again, but I would get it to go.

  Stopped in with a friend for a bite and cocktail, good vibes, r and b playing, fight on the big screens... A little upset that they have plastic wear not sure why... If I'm paying 40 to 50 plus dollars a meal I think I should get silverware, call me crazy but come on guys!!!! The drinks were okay A little over priced like the food they could have kept the jerk chicken egg rolls too HATED IT!! I will admit that the macaroni and cheese was pretty damn good, lamb chops pretty good didn't really like the sauce that accompanied, sweet potatoes were on point as well, greens were okay A little underwhelming due to lack of seasoning, my friend enjoyed meal as well as pictured. I'll be happy to return hopefully they'll have silverware, and a little bit lower prices especially since you have to get your own water that's crazy LOL

  Social media really knows how to hype places up, but this spot didn’t live up to it. First off, you have to stand in line and pay before you even sit down, then figure out seating on your own. We were told food could take 45 minutes to an hour because the kitchen handles both dine-in and to-go orders together—which honestly should be separated. The service felt disorganized. Our entrées came out before the appetizers, and it was never clear who our server actually was. Since you pay upfront, it kind of felt like there wasn’t much urgency or care afterward. The presentation was also disappointing. Food came out on metal trays, sides were in plastic bowls with lids, and we had plastic utensils. That might work for some people, but it definitely takes away from the experience. As for the food—lamb chops were extremely small for the price. The red beans and rice were mostly beans with barely any rice (literally just a few pieces), and it took about an hour and multiple people passing by before it was corrected. The alcoholic drinks were good, I’ll give them that. But the communal water tasted off—like the reservoir hadn’t been cleaned. Overall, this feels like one of those places you visit once just to experience it, but not somewhere you’d return to for the food.

  Let start off by saying, I really enjoyed all of my foodI are tonight. It had so much flavor in my greens without meat, that I didn't even use vinegar like I normally do. The creamy corn was delicious too and my sweet potatoes were very very good with lots of flavor as well. Due to certain circumstances I could only have vegetables and everything was fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant to dine in or pick up. Thank you for good service and for good food.

  Let me say this.. that cat fish was fire.. I had it over the grits because I wanted to try the soul food egg rolls.. lawwwwwwwwd Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzus delicious.. so I cheated because I had the greens, Mac and cheese and yams in the egg roll.. wheeeeeeeeeew.. I put them babies in the air fryer the next day.. 🔥.. I live way in Indiana in Winfield.. oh yesssssss I will be back.. ooohh and the lemonade flight was delicious too.. all of the people were nice.. the atmosphere was too.. I was glad we were able to get a table.. we enjoyed the food.. 5stars for me.. next time I gotta get a dessert. I was so full.. I had enough left to eat off of 2 more times.. sorry...🤣🤣🤣🤣I ate up my food before I took pics..
