- JJJASUJan 4, 20261.01/5/26 - your response clearly did not address my issue which indicates how Jewel does not value its customers 1/4/26 - I visited the Jewel on 179th in Orland Park to do some shopping and purchase the eggs that were advertised in the Flash Sale. It is very frustrating to shop at Jewel. 1) the advertisement did not mention any limit nor was there a coupon to clip. 2) there was no signage near the eggs indicating a limit or even a flash signage. 3) when I asked the checkout associate, he was clueless too. As a customer, it is unclear and I’m suppose to guess. I ended up being overcharged because no one seems to be doing their part from corporate to the store manager? I later returned to the store at 4 pm and a lady with gray silver curly hair at the Service Desk provided me with an explanation that made no sense. Additionally I was told by her that Jewel is not obligated to list purchase limits. That’s an unacceptable response. While I understand policies vary, clearer communication thru signage would improve the customer experience. This is common sense Corporate! There is more to today’s transaction but I would require an entire page.

It was so bare that it looked like the storm may be closing. They do not carry the ice that I buy and I have to travel to other Jewel food stores for items that this store on 179th and Wolf does not always carry. I don’t know if it’s management that is the issue here but today ever coustoner in the store was talking about it that had the same frustration that I did and this is not the first time! There are only a handful of people who work there that are kind and frendly! I understand that when you work with the public, it’s not always easy, but you need to be nice to the people that are nice to you! It’s a shame I and other customers cannot count on this store to be the best it can be! Give Jewel a bad name! Please try and fix your issues. People should not have to travel to other Jewel food stores when this place may be closer to them. Shame on you people.
