I'm not really a crowd person. Friday & Saturday are especially busy. So early afternoon, (if your schedule allows) is the best time to visit. The atmosphere was ok. But again, on a heavy crowd day, it can be a bit much.

Dave & Buster's is going downhill. I hate to admit it but it's true. I will almost rather go to a Chuck e cheese's then this place. You get completely smoked on the price of the food (and adult beverages especially!!!), The price of the games and the supposed prizes are absolutely stratospherically high! The only worthwhile prizes cost a number of tickets that you would have to visit the place for 3 hours a day 5 days a week for 2 months to get! Yes, it's nice and festive and my children really enjoyed it, but their food made every one of us ill. I've never been to a restaurant before with my family of four where that has happened. It really ruined our New Year's Eve. I don't recommend going here. I'm sorry. It would be nice to give them a 'meh' review but that would be dishonest. It's worse than that. We had a party of 18 half of whom were children. The bill came and we were shocked to see it was $840. Now, that included two adult beverages per adult and a ticket package per kid around $30 each. I was really on Disneyland in Disney world pretty bad the last couple years, but you can't even try and go do something like that on the cheap anymore.

Single mother comes in with three children, not aloud to go play with them and keep your table. It’s wild! I was chased back to the empty table because I had to watch the food dry out. 😂
Food was mediocre at best.
Service is rushed when first coming in, then nonexistent once you order.
Great evening spent doing a family thing…NOT..sitting alone writing this.

Visited with a group of 7 people ; overall , service was good except for the end of the night. After having some food , then playing a little , 3 of us went back for drinks. Although we were seated , we were not awknowledged. Jackie , the bartender , then did! She let us know she'd take care of us and did. Her drinks were delicious ! Her service was phenomenal. She really made an impact on how our night ended.
Shout out to Shyanne , whom took over as Jackie had already left. She was the sweetest!
Shout out to Aaron , who was attentive and was the cherry on top.
:)
**Cheese sticks are delicious too **

I came to Dave & Buster’s in Orland Park for a birthday celebration with my family — a group of about 20 people including my young children. While our server at the table was kind and trying her best, the overall service and experience were extremely disappointing and frustrating.
When placing my order, I asked for two Eat & Play combos ($27.99 each). I was told the server couldn’t ring them up on her tablet — only higher-priced packages — and that I would have to place the order at a kiosk. When I went to the kiosk, I was unable to use my gift card. I asked an employee for help, who turned out to be a manager. He said an associate would need to ring it up at the counter, but she was busy. I then waited about 10 more minutes.
When the associate finally came to help, she told me that what my server told me was incorrect and that she couldn’t locate my order. She didn’t know the table number and couldn’t identify my server. She even had me walk her to my table — only for us to walk back and forth again with still no progress.
A second manager, Sandy, eventually intervened and was able to complete the purchase. She apologized and added $25 in gameplay for the inconvenience — which I appreciated. But by the time everything was figured out, 25+ minutes had passed and my family was already finishing their meals before I was even able to order.
I tried to stay patient… until the game card issue.
I ordered one gameplay card for my son and one for my younger daughters to share. After ONE game, the card declined. I tried to flag the original manager for help — he ignored me despite being very close by. I then approached an employee by the bar who laughed and made a dismissive gesture toward me while talking with security. Completely unprofessional and humiliating.
When I found someone else who brought Sandy back over, she checked the card and said it only had 5 points. I showed her the receipt she had just issued me with a completely different card number. Yet she kept insisting the card didn’t match — as if I somehow switched it. That was incredibly insulting. I had literally just taken both cards from her and put them straight into my purse.
At this point, I was almost in tears. I had already spent over $100 and instead of enjoying a special moment with my family, I was being made to feel like a nuisance — or worse, like I was trying to scam them. The celebration was completely overshadowed by stress, confusion, and disrespect.
No real apology. No accountability. Just blame and dismissal from multiple employees.
I left upset and deeply disappointed. I hadn’t been to Dave & Buster’s in years, and after this experience, I can confidently say I never plan to return — and I will strongly advise friends and family to avoid this location as well.
