Janet was rude from the moment I walked up—eye‑rolling, sighing, and telling me there were people ahead of me when no one was actually in line. I waited over 30 minutes while she helped someone who wasn’t even at the counter but was standing nearby. When she finally helped me, she was impatient and had to redo my information for no clear reason. Very disappointing experience. I won’t be returning.

I understand the building itself is small so I can't find everything that other Jewel stores offer (I couldn't find the greeting cards section); so this is not why I'm ranting 4 stars. I'm taking 1 star for two reasons: 1.) I get charged per bag even though the store is in Oak Park and not in Chicago. I'm not being cheap, just don't think it's right for consumer to pay for a bag that has a store logo [paying for marketing]. 2.) At self checkout, I feel staff is over my shoulder, something I don't experience at the Stickney store. Maybe it's the fact that there's alot of theft or just the limited space but feels uncomfortable for sure.
