Burgers great. Staff nice. But service slow as hell. Had the simplest order out of ten people including 6 after mine. And mine was the absolute last to be made. Even had to wait an extra ten minutes when the counter where patrons wait was TOTALLY empty. Won't be back. *"My order was just a simple cheeseburger.

I hate to post this because this has been my go to portillos for years and recently its been downhill but this last time was my last straw. 1. I ordered and there was only like 5 people ahead of me at the counter waiting for their food. I waited 20 minutes and realized that some of those people havent received their orders. After 30 mimutes I finally asked the manager that 7 people that ordered after me got their food and the manager replied saying we get the orders as they come and proceeded to turn her back. A girl that was waiting for 1 salad finally got her salad only to be wrong. 2. The girl doing the salads threw all the bags on the counter just threw them. 3. A customer related to an employee that there were no lids for the cups and needed a medium. The employee slow as a sloth went to the back and came back with ONE SMALL LID. when he was told he needed a medium he came back and finally brought a medium. I noticed that all the employees including the manager had no sence of good customer service. If the manager is not leading by example then what does that show the crew? I finally got food and my burger was cold and I was so mad I just left. The only person that was helpful was the cashier who went to the back to still help out and apologized for dragging on orders. I worked in food establishment over 7 years and even on my bad days I was never this bad. Always remained professional. Moral of the story if you don't like your job then quit.

We placed a delivery order online using Portillos site. The order arrived to our house and was incomplete and inaccurate. Our order was missing a salad entree, and an item ordered was supposed to be without onions but was loaded with onions. We called the restaurant but the prompt given in the call doesn't connect you with anyone and seemed like an exercise in futility. I don't see us ordering from this Portillos if this is the lack of quality and poor service they appear to routinely provide to customers.

Wednesday, April 8, 2026: Ordered hot dog, cheeseburger and large fries (asking that fries be made hot & fresh). Hot Dog was barely warm, the cheeseburger dry and overcooked and some of the fries were partially raw. No one was in line at the drive thru when we arrived - one woman taking orders acted board and not welcoming. NOT the Portillo’s experience we had expected.

I regularly dine at this location because the food is good and I work nearby. However, anytime I have to deal with an employee at this location, I experience levels of rage that make me question my own character. I attempted to use online ordering takeout to avoid having to deal with the "go-getters" that work here, but guess what... They accidentally gave my food to someone in the drive thru. I only found out after waiting 10 minutes past my desired pick up time and asking where my slop is. While I understand being a few minutes behind at lunchtime, giving my food to another patron in separate line is ludicrous. If only there was a shelf that was specifically for take out orders, oh wait there is! While this may not sound like a big mistake, mishaps like this seem to happen every single time. Forgotten items, slow cook times, and unintelligible order calling are all common place here, but taking my order from the take out area and passing it through a window to the incorrect person is just the straw that broke the camels back for me. I cannot wait for AI to be able throw onion rings in a fryer.
