    As a regular, I have noticed the quality and overall value of the food has drastically fallen recently (as others have mentioned). Ordered a cheeseburger with fries and a chocolate cake shake, ended up waiting over 30 minutes yet there were only two other cars in the drive through. Making matters worse, the fries were freezing cold. They tasted like they were from yesterday. The shake was good in the beginning until it started tasting strange. The second half of the shake was strawberry! Disgusting. The final straw besides a cold and bland cheeseburger was the cheese! I have never received a cheeseburger with cold shredded cheese. Never again.

    I've tried calling regarding my order. They for got 1 of my fries the other order is cold and salty. My daughter said her bacon cheeseburger was cold and the fries was not hot. My biggest disappointment is the half slab of ribs they was not done. I had to put them in the oven To finish cooking I'm too tired to go back to the restaurant. They not answer the phone. $65.00 is too much for food and it's not fresh and hot

    95% of the time when I purchase Portillo’s, I typically order an Italian beef dipped with sweet peppers, onion rings, and a drink. This time I was disappointed with my sandwich. The meat and bread were barely wet, definitely not dipped. I only received 1 long sweet pepper on the sandwich. A sad surprise and disappointment. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

    Unfortunately my experience was less than satisfactory. Each experience is getting worse than the previous experience. That is why I had no desire to give my money and energy to PORTILLOS IN 2025. Looks like the remainder of 2026 will be a repeat of 2025 W H Y Did it take exactly 30 minutes to place and receive just 1 broiled chicken sandwich. NOTHING ELSE ! Just a broiled chicken sandwich ? Entered the line to place my order @ 513 pm. Finally my # was called @ 543 pm. Portillos is not worthy of waiting for 30 minutes for just a sandwich. Take out ! Again nothing else. No fries, no drink nothing but a broiled chicken sandwich.

    I hate to be negative but I’m posting this in hopes corporate sees and implements changes because as things are if they don’t change the entire brand is going down the drain. First off their “rewards” platform/system is infuriating. I’ve ordered idk how many times logged in to get points and until like my 10th order I finally notice a reward only to see it’s a ridiculous laughable insensitive tone deaf coupon for $25 off $100??????!!!! What?!!??? In this economy?!??? Read the room!!!! My orders are always around $25 max which for one person is egregious. Stick it where the sun don’t shine, Portillos. Second the customer service has been appalling. Hire better quality people or train and supervise them better. Why do online orders have to be picked up inside??? The worker at mobile pick up who is not busy at all can most definitely be notified on their walkie talkie headset whatever to get my order to the drive thru especially since the drive thru wait times are egregious so what do you mean I have to go inside???? The person at online pick up yesterday night January 21 was just diabolical. She was not facing me and never did she was facing east while I was facing her direction facing north trying to look into her face like a respectable human being ..anyway I was not important enough to turn her neck or body around for. she simply rolled her eyes over at me when she “greeted” me with a begrudging “how may I help you” I told her hi I’m picking up for ()” to which she checked the only bag at the very top shelf and seeing my name shoved it over in my direction knocking over my drink that was beside the bag. Since she never turned over to face me I do not know if she even noticed what she did knocking over my drink with her inexplicably rude shoving of my bag toward me. If she had noticed I think she would’ve either not cared or been pleased at her inadvertently adding more insult to injury by toppling over my drink. I did not make a big deal about it because thankfully the lid didn’t come off somehow it stayed closed and only a few drops dribbled out and wet the shelf and my hand, and because I honestly believe she would’ve spit in my drink if I complained and asked for a new one from her, and finally because I pitied her it was evident she hates her life, herself, and everyone around her unfortunately. She has obviously had very bad things happen to her before and suffered a lot more than usual before if she is so incredibly contemptuous of polite strangers. She made me so deeply regret not checking for my order myself to not have to interact with her which I only approached her instead of the shelf because I did not see that my order was there as it was in the very top farthest right shelf and not in my plane of view and also because there were orders behind the counter that the worker needs to grab for the customer and that’s usually where they’ve grabbed my orders from but this time I could’ve picked up my order myself without speaking to a worker, silly me. She made me regret going to Portillos at all. I’ve truly never had such contempt pointed in my direction and I realized although initially personally offended by her that I should be grateful I’m not in her shoes and let her supervisor or something know that she needs to hear a word of advice suggesting behavioral therapy/counseling because she clearly has a lot of unhealed wounds and trauma and needs help with that and its effects on her interpersonal relationships. Maybe there is an employee assistance program at portillos for her to advise her and lead her to the right resources. Seriously show her this review for her to read or something. Anyway that experience and the egregious prices ($7 for a polish with no fries or drink?????) made me pledge to never return to a portillos. The food is pretty good but not worth the increasingly unjustified prices, customer service, dumb policies, dumb rewards and wait time. I only would go for my bfs favorite polish but I found their supplier makowskis and will just buy direct from them and prepare at home.
