You sit in a long line, waiting to be serviced… the person walks up to you & asks for your order and you tell them. They read your exact order back to you & you pay $50 !! For the meal you & your passenger just put in ! You get your meal and drive all the way home ! Just to dig through the bag and neither Italian beef YOU ORDERED is the order you placed ….. then you call customer service because of course that’s customer services job to help & 4 times the phone hangs up … NEVER AGAIN

The soda fountain is bad more often than not. The mix is usually wrong, and this last time, they were just fully out of co2, and had no idea what to do, but still happily selling flat soda. They really need to get a handle on the mechanics of running a restaurant.

Assuming it would take only 15 minutes to prepare my burger and fries, I headed to the restaurant, only to discover that I would be waiting 40 minutes for my order. As I stood there, I watched customers who had walked in after me place their orders, eat, and leave all while I was left waiting for my meal. This level of service is unacceptable. When I inquired about the delay, an employee explained that online orders are pushed back due to in store traffic levels. This is simply not a reasonable justification. As a customer, my hunger shouldn’t have to wait an hour for a burger. Portillo's needs to improve their online order system and ensure that it operates efficiently even during busy times. I expected better service, and this experience has left me frustrated.

Umbelivable wait behind a car where driver placed 3 orders and then the worker went to the passenger side to take another order! I waited behind that car for it least 15 minutes! As they other lane passed at least 14 cars?! The final disappointment was the "chocolate eclair cake". Where was the filling. Hardly no filling but I see they doubled down on the chocolate. I hadn't brought in a while but I will not buy again because they obviously are cutting waay back on the filling, so disappointing!
