  Horrible customer service! The deli never has any of the special $1 items in morning or afternoon. Also, half of the time the chicken is burnt or they hardly have any. There is always 2 or 3 people standing around doing nothing! The store itself is always out of many produce items. I placed an on line order and 7 out of the 13 items I ordered were expired.I have talked to the manager to no avail.

  Do not trust the baked goods from here. I've bought blueberry muffins from here a couple of times. All of those times the muffins had a funky smell and tasted off. Christina who works in the bakery is extremely rude and I've seen her use dirty hands to touch the bakery items. I won't be buying from their bakery anymore!

  The last Jewel I was in was subpar with high prices. That experience had kept me away from all Jewels, but today, I had to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy. As soon as I walked in, I had forgotten all about the last Jewel I visited. This store had really good energy. The workers were happy and friendly and helpful and polite. Every encounter was positive. I didn't shop, but the travel hygiene items I browsed were decently priced along with deals like, "Buy 3, get 1 free." I did get a miniature slinky for $1.49, and my prescription was free to me, so that was good. The whiskey is cheaper at my local liquor store though. I don't know if it was obvious or not, but this well maintained Jewel was not the same lame Jewel from yesteryear.

  Worst grocery store ever, they don't even sell normal sized cupcakes. Why did I pay $20 for 6 bead necklaces and 24 tiny cupcakes oh that's right my autistic son was with me and I can't tell him no because it's his birthday. I feel like I got robbed or molested. I fully understand inflation but this is ridiculous. I'm sure they're just going to pay to have this bad review taken down too.

  I went to the deli to have some lunch meat cut and asked for a pound of pastrami the girl had to come all the way around to pull it out from the display case and another employee working with her a guy wearing a killer clowns from outer space t shirt made a rude remark about how I was only getting a pound of pastrami. How are you going to tell me how much meat I should have cut? Sorry should I have gotten 3 pounds cut? Now the girl did a great job nothing against her but I'm considering never coming back to this jewel osco that hires these rude immature employees.
