We just left this Jewel. The cashier was extremely rude. There was no bagger and she did not help us bag at all. She just checked the next customer out even though our groceries were still being bagged. I asked her why there were no baggers and she just told us how to find the store manager. We will not be shopping at this store. We are new to the neighborhood and have always shopped at Jewel. Never have we been treated so rudely. Her name is Caroline.

I am extremely frustrated with the lack of communication and poor customer service around drive-up orders at this location. I placed my drive-up order at 3:00 PM and was told it would be ready between 7:00–8:00 PM. By 7:00 PM, I had received no notification, no update, and no communication whatsoever. When I called to check on the status, I was told they were still working on orders from 3:00 PM and then the call was abruptly disconnected. If my order was never going to be ready in the promised time window, someone should have communicated that so I could make other arrangements. Instead, I was left waiting with no transparency and no support. When I attempted to cancel the order, no one could provide clear guidance or assistance. This is not an isolated issue. I’ve had multiple problems with this store over time, including inconsistent quality and poor handling of grocery orders. I only continue to shop here for convenience, but the service and freshness have noticeably declined. Customers deserve basic communication and respect for their time. This experience was disappointing and avoidable. And although it’s convenient, I am DONE shopping here.

This place has gone downhill since they closed Food4less. No competition, no need to worry. Deli department is the worst in the country. 2 taking care of customers 8 making premade sandwiches. They never have all the items in the sale flyer so you have to get a rain check.. The only positive thing I can say is the checkout staff is polite and professional. If you need something from Jewel go to 171st and Harlem . I did today after a deli fiasco and that's where I'll shop. Except for the pharmacy , those guys are GREAT . I'll stay there

Overpriced and mediocre quality, been here a decade and staff rarely seem like they actually enjoy being there; one time a staff member when I was in the aisle as opposed to offering help stated I looked “lost”. On another occasion another woman manning the self-checkout had an absolute schism about the fact that I was activating gift cards, yet no signage denotes that you could not do such a thing at the time. They have some nice products (e.g., the floral arrangements, some bakery items) but you can buy many of the household products or other products for much cheaper at other retailers. Honestly, would recommend going anywhere else.

Completely disappointed in the customer service and director for this location. Anyone who cooks for their family will understand. Unfortunately, Mike at Jewel didn’t. I placed a $50 order with them. Consisting of ingredients for a stew and sirloin meat. Had a great conversation with the gentleman that brought out the ingredients and he even shared some wonderful apps to consider. But as I get home and begin to labor in love- cutting the ingredients and letting it simmer. Time went by when my house began to SMELL. I got closer to the pot and realized something was spoiled/expired. And it was the MEAT!!! I was so upset and frustrated. And while I understand things like this can happen due to volume and sometimes missed points of quality control, the store director/customer service and even Mike failed to provide a refund or compassion. I was greeted with an undermining, I don’t care, too bad type of demeanor. I EVEN OFFERED to bring the dish so they would see all that was in it to validate the spoiling of my groceries. I never write reviews but this lack of customer service needs to be met with accountability. I hope someone higher up will see this and sit down with the staff to recognize that we all serve each other in some capacity in this world but THIS…. I will never buy from here again. And if this does continue, people will buy from a fresher, better serving store. Greed was evident through this experience. TEST YOUR MEAT OR YOU WILL WASTE TIME COOKING.
