I took my family here late Sunday night. With most of the restaurants closing in the area, I was able to go here and have happy hour. I’m from STL and to witness the great customer service, great food, and drinks was a blast. My waitress was awesome and the Manager, I think her name Rayner, was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be back. They need to put a LazyDog in the St. Louis area. Thanks Oak Brook for your hospitality.

I had an incredible dining experience at Lazy Dog! The food was phenomenal, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The drinks were equally impressive, perfectly complementing the meal.
A special shoutout to our waiter, Tim, who truly made the evening memorable. His excellent service, genuine care, and personable nature made us feel right at home.

This place is so hit or miss. You either get great food or garbage, there is no in between. TV dinners are fantastic, but many of them are missing key ingredients. The shepherd’s pie is always missing potatoes, so you’re basically getting a Campbell’s chunky soup w cheese on top. Meanwhile, the lemon chicken is amazing. 1 out of 3 steaks are wonderful, but 2/3 of the time you’re getting it totally raw or overcooked. The only thing that’s consistent on their menu are the inside out quesadillas.
Idk if they have a lot of turnover in their kitchen, or they simply get overwhelmed by volume, but if they can lock in and have better quality control they would easily be a 5/5 on all points. We waited for over an hour for 2 steak entrees and a tv dinner take out order on a relatively quiet Saturday afternoon. The flat iron steak was raw, potatoes and spinach cold, the strip steak was well done when ordered rare, and we’re playing Russian roulette w the tv dinners this week. We aren’t the type who send food back, but we are noticing a trend.
Lazy Dog, get it together. We want to spend our money and be regulars, but your inconsistency is killing you. It’s the best menu in the western burbs. Be prepared and execute. This review will easily become 5 stars if the quality and consistency comes up.

Bartender was cool amd the atmosphere is great as far as decor. The Brussel sprouts are good. We ordered the New York Strip MEDIUM....came out WELL done like shoe leather. Ordered the FILET Kabobs and there were FAT pieces in the filet. I asked the bartender if thos is what Lazy Dog considers medium for the NY Strip and why does the Filet have fat pieces. The manager came out and offered to make a new NY and then told me, well the Kabobs AREN'T actually Filet. ON the Menu it says, TENDER FILET. If its not Filet it should say that on the menu.... Then, i go to use the reatroom before we left, absolutely disgusting!!!
Will not be getting anything ever besides the Brussel sprouts and a drink IF I ever go to lazy dog ever again ... 🤮🤮🤮

I recently visited Lazy Dog, and it was such a great experience from start to finish.
The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Lazy Dog. It’s cozy and rustic, with a lodge-style vibe that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a casual weekday lunch as it does for a relaxed weekend outing.
Our server, Jordan, truly made the visit exceptional. From the start, Jordan was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and checked in at just the right times without ever making us feel rushed. It’s clear Jordan takes pride in providing great service, and it absolutely elevated the whole experience.
The food was just as impressive. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. Portions were generous, and you can really taste the quality in each dish. Whether you’re in the mood for comfort food, something lighter, or one of their creative seasonal specials, there’s something for everyone on the menu.
Overall, between the inviting atmosphere, delicious food, and Jordan’s outstanding service, this was a five-star experience. I’ll definitely be coming back—and I’ll be asking for Jordan again!
