I wish I could give 0 stars because that’s what I received, 0 pizzas. We placed an online order, which after fees (including delivery) came to $75. After about 2 hours, we decided to drive to the location to pick them up. We tried calling, their phones were disconnected. The manager shared with us that their online ordering wasn’t working, and we would have to call customer service for a refund. After about 3 weeks of a run around with customer service, we finally just decided to report the charge as fraud. We have given this management team several opportunities to make it right. They’ve even responded to our negative reviews (which have now been deleted), and tried to combat our deep interpersonal wealth of family and friends with their own fake positive reviews, and finding our personal pages on Facebook. I’m hoping this review finds upper management, corporate, or a franchise licensing department. It’s a shame that this abomination put a mom and pop shop out of business. If you’re looking for a great small business, nemec brothers in geneva. Around the same price, better quality, great customer service, members of the Chicago pizza summit.

Placed a larger order a day ahead of time, I went to pick up at the time I selected on the order and was told it would be a half hour when I arrived. I wasn't happy as I had some guests at our house waiting for dinner, but had no choice but to wait in the restaurant. The "manager" told me that they can't help how many orders they get. What's the point of taking online orders ahead of time if you aren't going to prioritize those? Don't waste your time doing an early order. The pizza was still pretty good but the service at this location is sub-par. I even heard the manager talking rudely on the phone to another customer complaining about the slowness, asking "Do you know how to run a pizza place?". Totally unacceptable customer service. Sadly, I like Giordano's pizza so I will probably order at some point again, but be aware not to expect your pizza to be ready in time, especially on the busier nights!

I placed an order to be delivered at a later time 8:10 pm I put the order in online at 6:30 pm. They ended up delivering it at 9:00 pm it was just warm not hot. The pizza tasted like a frozen pizza from a store. I was disappointed with the service and the food. I had high expectations given their Chicago location was much better the last time I had it. I’m not sure if I will give them a second chance, but the manager had a lot of excuses for the mishaps. I had to ask for something to help with to makeup for there mishaps. She did agree to give me 20% off my order. Will see if they fallow through with the credit.

We placed a delivery order and were told it’d be an hour. Cool. Ninety minutes later, still no pizza. I call, they say it’s “on the way.” A few minutes after that, I get a text saying it was delivered… but my stomach and front porch strongly disagreed.
I call again. This time, I get someone whose attitude was crustier than the pizza I never received. They tell me to “ignore the text”, the pizza’s still coming. Another 30 minutes pass. Now we’re two hours in, and still no cheesy salvation.
I call back again (because apparently I’m in a long-term relationship with this phone number now), and I’m told the pizza was delivered… to the wrong house. But don’t worry—they’re going to retrieve the two-hour-old pizza and bring it to me. Because nothing says “customer service” like recycled pepperoni.
I ask for a manager. Instead, I get a promise of a refund and a dial tone. Stay classy Giordano's.

It’s been a while since I’ve had Giordano’s.
First, the ingredients are all really good—sauce, sausage, crust, cheese. But the proportions are off. More sauce, less cheese would make this 5 stars for me (there’s a LOT of cheese).
Operationally, the woman at the front counter was very friendly. The pizza was 10 minutes later than promised (ordered as pickup through UberEats app i.e., not a delivery driver issue). And the pizza slices were not cut all the way through the crust which made for a mess.
The free tiramisu they gave was a nice touch—it was pretty good.
Overall, I’ll be back.
