The Original Pancake House was founded in Portland, Oregon by Les Highet and Erma Hueneke. Today, we’re bringing their vision of serving authentic pancakes, waffles, eggs and other traditional breakfast recipes to Normal, Illinois. We use only the best ingredients, such as 93 score butter, pure 36% whipping cream, fresh grade AA eggs, hard wheat unbleached flour, and our own sourdough starter.
We even have gluten-free and vegetarian breakfast options!

- JDJeff DMar 7, 20264.0First time guest. Upon entering we were seated immediately. The booths were full so we were seated at a table for 2. The table was very small and extremely close to others so there is not much privacy for personal conversation. Our waitress was very accommodating, efficient, and make regular stops to check on us. When the food came it barely fit on the table as I said they are very small. The coffee and food was very good. The omelet are fluffy and nicely sized. The coffee has a great flavor very bold but not to strong. We had blueberry pancakes which they had blueberry flavored syrup which was delicious. Overall the food and service was amazing. The small tables that seat 2 are to small and to close to others. We would definitely return but request being seated somewhere with more room.

Misleading and false advertising! Definitely won't be giving them my business again. I even called to make sure maybe it was a one off and nope. I was told on the phone that none of the crepe dishes on the menu are filled even though it clearly states they are.
