  Lunch was handled fast and the Italian beef was dipped just right, fries were hot, and I was back out the door in maybe ten minutes around noon on Tuesday. Looked at three spots before settling on Portillo's and the price felt fair for River North, plus the line moved way quicker than I expected, so yeah I would come back.

  Sitting at window waiting for my food,over five minutes later I get my food I should've checked my order since it took so long but I didn't. Got home and there was no peppers or cheese on my Italian beef and I had ordered two gravies and extra sweet peppers on the side. I got nothing on the side. Will not be going back to portillos.

  Staff was extremely accommodative to my food allergy. I usually feel annoying asking about the prep process, but everyone was very kind and understanding. They replaced my bun with a lettuce wrap and informed of having a dedicated fryer for their french fries, separate from their breaded chicken tenders. I recommend this place for people with food sensitivities.
