  Staff was extremely accommodative to my food allergy. I usually feel annoying asking about the prep process, but everyone was very kind and understanding. They replaced my bun with a lettuce wrap and informed of having a dedicated fryer for their french fries, separate from their breaded chicken tenders. I recommend this place for people with food sensitivities.

  This may have been the best experience I’ve ever had at a Portillo’s restaurant. It was a rough day. Jordan (the young man taking our order) was able to put a smile on our faces even got a laugh out of us. He went above and beyond in his customer service. 10/10.

  The food was perfect! I live right near the Chicago River north location so for me to be impressed is great! I’m writing this truly because of Latonya who I caught doing an act of kindness for an elderly lady. The lady was a bit confused and Latonya was walking her to the door. I said “so sweet of you” and she heard me and said “thank you”. She did more than I’ll mention but I will mention she is very sweet! Little things go a long way!

  We had some promotional meal cards. Employees didn't engage in a friendly way when we requested seperate payments per guest order in order to use the cards. Took a long time for the food. It was "ok". Upon eating we noticed that our ,and other tables around us had mold/mildew on the table cloths. We left

  Soggy saltless fries, cold cheese sauce and not fresh ingredients on the sandwich. Whoever’s working the lines Sunday night does not know what quality is and receives an F for all the above. Do better! This was one of the worst Portillo’s experiences I’ve ever had, will not be back to this one on a Sunday 👎
