- AAAndreaDec 11, 20251.0Made an online purchase of several bottles of wine on Nov 8 during a weekend sale, never received an email notification to let me know it was ready to be picked up - I called a couple days later to confirm everything was ok. I promptly picked up my order the next afternoon where I received very terrible customer service from the location manager regarding the total price of my order, which had already been debited from my account (the transaction would not go through on the cash register). Her excuse along with another mouthy manager was that it was a 'temporary hold' even though there was nothing temporary about it on my bank account, the money was gone. Instead of manually changing the dollar amount on the screen in front of her, she canceled the transaction I already was debited for and then made me pay full price. Upon paying, I asked for a corporate number, where I called immediately upon leaving the business and I left a message but never received a call back. I never heard an apology for the inconvenience, misunderstanding, etc. and no one offered help out to my car since the box I was carrying was rather heavy. Best part about the story is that as soon as I was charged full price for my order, I received the magical email to come pick up my order. Not that it WAS picked up, don’t misunderstand me. That it was READY to be picked up. Don't worry the paying customer is still wrong here obviously. I shop at Binny's quite often as well as friends and family, this is extremely disappointing.
