Fantastic food and service. Our server Monica was knowledgeable, quick and kind. Management was absolutely wonderful when there was a mix up with one of our plates. They fixed it asap and made my mother in laws birthday very special.

I usually enjoy Morton’s, especially the Chicago location, so this was disappointing. The martini was very good, but the Bubbles & Bites experience fell short. The sliders were served boxed upside down (see photo), no truffle fries were included, and I was given Prosecco instead of Veuve Clicquot and told that’s just how it comes. I didn’t speak up in the moment, but looking back, this didn’t meet the brand standard I expect.

We went for my elderly mother’s birthday which fell on Christmas Eve. She chose Morton’s and made sure to make a reservation weeks in advance and also made sure they knew it was her birthday. Arriving was a bit chaotic, a 7:30 reservation we arrived at 7:15 and didn’t get seated until almost 8pm. We were a group of two and right away noticed larger groups arriving after us getting seated before we were. There’s also no general seating in the lobby-bar area and the bartender was not thrilled when my mother took a seat but didn’t want to buy a drink. However there was anywhere else to stand or sit. The service continued down from there. We both felt large groups got so much more attention and we were brushed aside being a small group. The waiters attitude seemed to change when we declined wine service and he didn’t know about the speciality drink featured on the Morton’s website that wasn’t a wine. Nor did he bother to check more into it when my mother showed a screen shot. We asked about the bread appetizer multiple times as we were starving which was never volunteered but other tables got theirs well before their dinners. This finally came out AFTER our steaks were served. Amazing tasting bread as well but served so late when we could have had it while sitting waiting for our steaks. To be fair the steaks were fantastic. Really a journey of taste for your pallet. Incredible taste but the service was so bad it overshadowed the meal. I had to constantly ask for drink refills or flag someone down when we needed something. Unless it was water, which was kept full. The staff did come and take a complimentary birthday photo which was great and they also had acknowledged my mother’s birthday at check in. However the two large groups on either side of us had birthdays too. They were given speciality deserts with a lit candle. I asked the group next to me if they made a special request and was told oh no they just mentioned it to the waiter mid meal. It was disappointing our waiter didn’t deliver on this, even after commenting about how our birthday photos came out. I ordered 2 crème Brulés from the waiters assistant since he was constantly unavailable. After a half hour I asked for a follow up of where ours was. They then brought out ONE - even though I had order two a half hour ago. Nor could they bother to put a candle on it. I was so upset at that point. The joke of service provided when they don’t see non stop dollar signs is absurd. They run to the large groups that are probably considered cash cows in their eyes. It was so awkward as the food is really good and the service was just a nonstop mess. My opinion - avoid this location if your a small group. Maybe other Morton’s locations are not as sales focused/upselling orientated. But to the credit of the chef and staff making the actual food - it was very very good - bravo incredible quality food. I just hope the kitchen staff are getting the recommend 18-20% gratuity on the bill as the wait staff did little to deserve it. Morton’s needs to secret shop their locations and get a better grasp of what the average customer experiences. The manager did come check on us but was very difficult to comment on the service when waiter is standing right behind him.

We made a reservation for Christmas Day the day before, so we were so happy they still had a place for us. The food and service were excellent

We were surprised to be disappointed! The food was just... not great. The steak was over charred, the sides were pretty greasy? Salad was good. I'm as surprised to write this as you are to read it.
