Blue Sushi Sake Grill truly shines as a culinary haven for those who adore Japanese cuisine, particularly vegetarians. My past attempts to satisfy sushi cravings as a vegetarian often fell short, but this restaurant delivered an unforgettable experience with its vast and thoughtfully curated vegetarian and vegan offerings. The breadth of choices is simply astounding, providing an abundance of options for every palate. Every appetizer and vegetable sushi roll was a testament to their culinary skill, bursting with vibrant flavors. The Tofu Lettuce Wrap was a highlight, as were the delightful Shiitake to Me Vegan rolls. For smaller, equally delicious bites, the Charred Edamame and Crispy Brussel Sprouts were fantastic. The overall ambiance creates a wonderful setting for family gatherings, and the impeccable hospitality, which made our graduation celebration so special, truly elevates the dining experience.

We absolutely love this restaurant. It is one of our favorites for sushi. The food is soooo good and what makes it even better is our server Noel who is absolutely amazing. Every time we dine there she gives us excellent service. She remembers what we order which is top notch service and rare. She is one of the many reasons we come back! This is one of our favorite restaurants and love it even more because it is located on the riverwalk of downtown Naperville. We highly recommend 5 stars!!!!

Pretty good sushi, especially their vegetarian options, for a suburban restaurant. Had to give three stars off because they continue to charge a hidden credit card fee to bills. These are covid-era junk fees that are a write-off for the business, that should be made more explicitly known to the customer. Alternatively, just raise your prices to accommodate your costs.

I am so disappointed with this place. We have been customers for 10 years now, we live over an hour away also. But that never stopped us from coming here almost every weekend for months at a time. But the last two experiences we had here were awful and we didn’t even get to eat. The first bad experience was we had made a reservation and sitting outside was the only option. We live over an hour away, we were about 15 minutes away from blue sushi when it started raining, they don’t let people sit outside in the bad weather it’s their policy which is fine. But they told us our reservation was no longer available and we could put our name in for a 3 hour wait time when we got there. Even though I had made reservations earlier in the week. Whatever. The last experience a few weeks ago, it was 3:30 pm on a Saturday when we showed up, with an extremely hungry toddler. There were two ladies in front of us in line talking with the hostess, we had heard the hostess tell them they wouldn’t be able to get a table till 8:30 pm, even though there were over 10 empty tables. But then the hostess asked another worker to see what she could do. She came back and had a table ready for the two ladies in front of us. It’s our turn to let the hostess know how many with our party (it was 2 people and toddler) and told us “sorry we can’t seat you till 8:30pm that’s when our next available table is” it was 3:30 pm and there were plenty of tables open. We obviously had no choice but to leave and the hostess laughed at us on our way out. My husband was livid, after 10 years of coming there and spending almost $200 there every visit, it’s definitely a slap in the face. Blue sushi was his favorite restaurant and now he says we will never go back. Sad to see what it’s become, idk if it’s a status thing and that’s why they wouldn’t seat us but it definitely felt like discrimination.
