- TDTravis (Doughboy_Food_Reviews)Aug 31, 20255.0Gimme S’more: This was one of the first Ben & Jerry's (B&J's) flavors I ever tried, so I'm thrilled that they eventually promoted it from limited batch to fan favorite status. The pint contains toasted marshmallow ice cream with chocolate cookie swirls, graham cracker swirls, and fudge flakes. The marshmallow flavor is somewhat subtle and easily overpowered by the chocolate cookie pieces, fudge flakes, and graham cracker swirl. I do applaud B&J's for trying something different by making marshmallow the base flavor, but I think gobs of marshmallow cream would have been better (like in "Phish Food"). I'm happy to report the fudge flakes are not overly bitter and add a satisfying textural contrast to the creamy ice cream. It would be nice if the graham cracker swirl (which is almost impossible to see in the pics) was more abundant (Gimme S'more!), but when you do manage to get the graham cracker swirl into a bite it provides a welcome burst of flavor that sets this flavor apart and brings you right to a campfire.
