I’ve tried a lot of chicken sandwich spots across Chicagoland, and I don’t say this lightly—this is hands down the best Nashville hot chicken sandwich I’ve had in the area. No real contenders. Consistency is everything, and after three visits, they’ve nailed it every single time. This time I kept it simple with just the Nashville hot sando and a side of corn—and that corn deserves its own spotlight. The balance of spices, salt, and herbs is unreal… the kind of flavor that has you licking your fingers without even thinking twice. The chicken itself? Always on point. Juicy, crispy, and perfectly coated in that signature heat and seasoning. You can tell there’s real attention to detail in the kitchen. The team works with purpose, and it shows in the food. The owner is also super personable and brings great energy to the place, which adds to the overall experience. One thing I genuinely appreciated was the prayer area off to the side—I was able to step away for Asr and come back to enjoy the meal, which made the visit even more meaningful. All in all, this is a memorable spot that’s doing things right. I really hope they keep this level of quality and experience going for a long time.

Spoke with owner and said that all heat levels are with habanero pepper. But what makes each level spicier is the amount of habanero they use. We ordered the hot level. For our first time here we were not familiar with the ordering system. We dined it and waited for almost 30 minutes for two foods. One tender and cup of Mac and cheese. My friend’s Mac and cheese came out cold, but they fixed it. We are spice enthusiasts who like to compare other hot chicken places like Dave’s. Heat level is definitely up there amongst the top five. For recommendations I hope to see them expand their menu to include vegetarian options and Hindu friendly options since they cook with beef tallow. That way you get even more customers who are spice lovers. Overall this is a place we will come to again. Just need to improve on the ordering system, quality control on the food, cleanliness (Trashes were full with no room to throw containers), etc.

I saw an Instagram reel for The Rude Rooster and decided to make the trip, but the overall experience was OK at best. The setup up front feels a bit goofy and sterile—there was a long line just to order at a tablet, with no staff manning the actual register. A huge draw for us was the mozzarella bricks, but they were completely sold out by noon. The wait for the food took about 30 minutes, which felt like a bit much, especially since we didn't even get our drinks to sip on while we waited. There’s also no music playing, making the long wait feel a bit unusual and quiet. To their credit, the food itself was good, and the burger bun really stood out. However, the fries I received were just the little nubs from the bottom of the basket, which wasn't ideal. I’m willing to chalk this up to growing pains, but I simply can’t recommend anyone go out of their way to eat here until they make some major improvements to the customer experience.

Walking in, I was greeted right away, which was a great start. I originally wanted to order the corn, but unfortunately they had run out. Instead, I went with the jalapeño smash burger. It was well-seasoned and had good flavor, though it was a bit dry for my taste—I prefer my burgers more juicy. The bathrooms could have been cleaner, as they were a little dirty during my visit. As a recommendation, staff handling food—especially at the front register—should avoid touching their hair and then serving food without proper hygiene practices. It’s important to maintain cleanliness and food safety when interacting with customers.

3.5 rounded up. This is not a bad review - just different. This place is far above any fast food (McD, PopYes, KF, etc...), so it will be rated differently. Came on a Saturday night, about 1/3 full when I walked in. Really wanted to check it out so I ordered a bunch of stuff to go. It took 35+ mins to fulfill; not great but it's made to order, not sitting on a hot plate and not McD's. I was told 15-20, so quite a bit longer... The sando is the star here, absolutely one of the best chicken sando's I've had - great chicken, great proportions (two good size tenders), great slaw, good bread. The burger - meh. Certainly better than McD's, on pace with Culver's; not close to Portillo's. The heat on the birds is above what most like, which is standard if you've had Dave's or Hangry, just keep that in mind if you order for folks that don't like heat. Hot is well above hot - I love hot stuff and I'd suggest Medium on a sandwich, less hot on a tender. They were out of the loved cheese bricks... not cool. Corn ribs were unexpected and good. The loaded fries were HUGE and wonderfully unhealthy - If you want em, you got em! The sauce is sweet; the wife didn't like it, I did. Pretty good overall, not the best but pretty darn good! Certainly better than reg ff & better than Caine's! Crew started getting frustrated as more and more customers started piling in behind me. Places that ask for a tip that aren't serving you piss me off and this is one of them - as many places are now. About to take another star off but I really don't want to. I'm glad they're here and hope they survive - they deserve to. It's a good place, way better then regular fast food, not as great as the best chicken joints but pretty darn close. Again, obviously rounding this joint up. Hope to have a better experience next time (less than 40 mins for food?). Thank Y'all for what you provide - well done!
