  I’m going to be honest. Maybe Lombard food has spoiled my taste buds, or maybe I just set my expectations too high after reading the reviews. I came in really excited and left feeling a little underwhelmed. That being said, the customer service was honestly amazing. The staff was genuinely kind, caring, and welcoming. That really stood out to me. I’m not trying to attack the business at all. This is just my personal experience, and I would still tell people to try it for themselves. We ordered the Rude Sando combo, the Nash N’ Smash Sloppy Fries, the Jalapeño Smash combo, and the Mozzarella Bricks. The mac and cheese was very creamy, but it just did not have much flavor. The smash burger tasted like it needed more seasoning. It felt like a plain patty with cheese. The Rude Sando definitely had some spicy bites, but overall it felt like the heat kind of overpowered everything instead of the flavors coming together. The Mozzarella Bricks were honestly the highlight. Spicy, cheesy, cooked perfectly. I would actually come back just for those. Overall, the service left a great impression on me. The food just did not fully meet my expectations this time. I am still open to coming back and trying other items because the staff really made the experience enjoyable

  I was super excited for this place to open and it lived up to the hype. I got the Nashville chicken sandwich, hot, with cole slaw on the side. As someone who has eaten hot chicken from many of the great places in Nashville, this place is up there with them. "Hot" spiciness was perfect for me. I found everything about the sandwich perfect. The chicken is crispy yet tender. Buns were perfect, in my opinion. The Rude sauce is perfect to calm down the spiciness a bit if you need it and it adds a nice flavor. I thought the fries were really good and I liked the seasoning, but maybe they were seasoned a bit too much in my serving. I showed up early to my takeout pickup time and I had a chance to chat with the owner for a few minutes. Really good guy and you can tell how excited he and his employees are for the restaurant. He accommodated my 2 year old's special request, which was not necessary but very appreciated. I will 100% be back to try the burger and other items on the menu even though I am obsessed with hot chicken sandwiches. I'm very happy they opened up in my neighborhood.

  Solid new spot 7/10. Seems like they are still working on getting their recipes tuned in. Got a jalepeno smash 7/10 solid flavor profile, but it came off a bit dry. Nashville Sando 6/10, not a fan of the 2 tender approach over a breast, to add to that the tenders were very dry n didn’t have much flavor (I got medium). I think the buns are a little too thick compared to competitors and that adds to the dryness in the sandwiches. Hot chicken ceasar wrap 7.5/10, decent flavor profile, but again too dry. Service was dope n they seemed super friendly, inside decor and setup also looked great! Honestly was shocked the food ended up as dry as it did, but I will be back in a few months to try it out again!

  Highly highly recommend eating here!! First of all the location is beautiful and open, the staff were SO kind (literally discussed adding fried pickles to the menu and then boom I got a sample of fried pickles!!!!!!) but omg the food. This food is art. Seasoned to perfection, spiced to compliment the meal not over power it, portion sized generously, and again - the fried pickles aren’t even on the menu but the ones they whipped up for me to try were better than any fried pickles I’ve ever had. If you’re anywhere near here, stop in and you won’t be disappointed!! Oh, and I was impressed with the changing tables in BOTH bathrooms!

  This hidden spot should definitely be on your radar to try out. There smashburgers are phenomenal blew me away with there taste. I've tried many smashburgers but this one is my new favorite place. Everything comes in together and the flavors are top tier. Also there Nashville chicken sandwiches are really good. The ingredients and flavors go really well together. Highly recommend to try this place! There chicken sandwich and tenders are comparable to Dave's Hot Chicken but I'd say this place is definitely better.
