  A true experience...first time and a little caught off by the family portions but it worked out perfectly. The food was super delicious. This place is very interesting amd the vibe is a whole mood. Will definitely be going back.

  Buca di Beppo is a magical land filled floor to ceiling with food. They don't play by the typical restaurant rules. Entrees are designed to be shared my multiple people. We went on Easter as a party of 10 and ended up with oodles and oodles of leftover noodles. Don't worry, the doggy bags are provided. Even the desserts are huge. It is a great environment for groups and special occasions

  Very disappointing visit today. We planned a birthday lunch for my son and nephew today and booked the pope room in advance. We were seated at a regular table and I told the hostess we booked the pope room - she immediately acted angry and said we didn't write it in the comments on the reservation. I pulled up the email reservation and showed her and she stated I should've written in the comments. My party of 12 got seated and I went to find another employee. I found a man I presume was the manager and let him know the issue. I showed him the email and he said that's not how it came up on his tablet. I asked what could be done. He said nothing, the room was full. He went on to say I should've called to confirm the pope room was open. I asked why would I call when the email confirmation said Easter pope room celebration x 12? He shrugged and said it's not his fault the system does that. We stood staring at each other for a while - he offered no apology, solution, discount, nothing. The waitress was disappointing as well. She forgot refills and barely checked on us. My 2 daughters and sister in law never got a refill after asking twice. We had booked in comments birthday for the boys - we were never offered birthday dessert. I asked if we could order one. She stated sure, what do you want. I was not offered a menu with prices she just listed out the options - I choose one. They brought out the dessert while boys were in the bathroom, no candle, no singing. We sang ourselves, waitress was right there but didn't sing. No one else was offered dessert or coffee. Not a celebratory experience, disappointed, will not return.

  I typically do not compose reviews, but I felt compelled to assist anyone who might be contemplating a visit to this establishment. For his 14th birthday, my son expressed a desire to dine at this particular restaurant, specifically requesting their Pope-themed room. My wife thoughtfully secured reservations several weeks in advance. Upon our arrival with a party of twelve, we discovered that the Pope room was already occupied. While this was certainly disappointing, it would have been more manageable had the staff not attributed the issue to our supposed error. We were, of course, able to readily access our reservation details on our phone. The response we received was, at best, unkind and condescending. My initial inclination was to depart immediately, but given that we had traveled two hours and had no alternative plans, we remained. The food was acceptable, perhaps comparable to a slightly less refined version of Olive Garden. As one approached the restroom facilities, there was a noticeable odor reminiscent of soiled mop water. I began drafting this review while still at the table, but my wife, ever gracious, encouraged me to exercise patience and observe if an apology would be extended; regrettably, none was offered. In summation, it was an unsatisfactory experience, and I would not recommend.

  I love walking through the kitchen at Buca. I feel like I am going to visit my Italian Grandma. I want to ask "How's the Italian Gravy today, grammy?" The shrimp Diavolo is grand. It's a little spicy with perfectly cooked shrimp. Remember when you order the 'regular' size portion, you are ordering family style for four (that's right 4!) people. Bring the neighbors or bring 3/4s of it home. Laughing. Be sure to get some photos next to the bust of the pope. His head is in a plexiglass cube and on a lazy Susan, it cracks me up every time. I love going to buca, it's a great treat. I forgot to look for the shrine of Frank Sinatra. I hope it's still there. Is nothing sacred? Laughing.
