I ordered a peppermint mocha from the drive thru. A peppermint mocha should have whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, peppermint flavor, and mocha. Instead, I received a plain hot coffee with a peppermint mocha sticker stuck on it like that alone would magically create flavor. There was no whip, no drizzle, no peppermint, and no mocha. Just a very confused cup of coffee. I went inside for a refund. I did not want it remade. I only wanted my money back for a drink that was not even close to what I ordered. A different lady came to the counter first. I did not get her name, but she was polite and she went to call for Niketha. The moment Niketha walked up, the whole mood changed. She already looked annoyed before I even spoke, like assisting a customer was the last thing she planned on doing that day. She gave no greeting and no apology. When I explained that I needed a refund, she acted like I had asked her to perform a magic trick. She avoided giving the refund, gave me attitude the entire time, and made the process way harder than it needed to be. I had to repeat myself multiple times because she clearly did not want to help. Her attitude was unnecessary and honestly exhausting. It felt like she was personally offended that I wanted the drink I paid for. By the time she finally processed the refund, I was thinking I should have just gone to Starbucks. At least they would have given me the right drink without acting like I disrupted national peace. I wanted to make you aware because the wrong drink was one problem, but the customer service was truly unacceptable.
