Not the first time we bring peaches home from here and 100% of them are rotten on the inside - just a few hours after bringing them from the store. Cucumbers got mold you can see right on the shelf, so those we don’t grab to begin with. But the peaches thing is sneaky… how do you all tell if peaches are going to be rotten trash on the inside when they look just fine on the outside? Just don’t buy them anywhere except Whole Foods and other fancy places except over a few months in the year? And I understand I can come back and complain and get the money back but seriously who’d do that for a few peaches? Ain’t nobody got time for that.. It just sucks that somehow it’s normal to expect fresh produce from Jewel will get moldy the next day and is regularly rotten from day one. Another place that somehow ended up in this state for me is Fresh Farms, though that was a few years ago already - mast fresh products got moldy within 1-2 days after getting them (and I asked friends and got the same feedback from multiple people). Jewel please don’t follow that lead… you are better than this, I believe in you! 💪💪
