We were here on New Years Eve for the first time and had such a pleasant night. The food was great our table ordered a variety of dishes, and even though it was busy, we didn’t wait long for our dinner. Our waitress Katherine was very attentive and our glasses of wine were never empty. We will definitely be coming back!

Sarah was the sweetest server I have ever had! She made our evening great, was on top of everything, and made sure the kitchen was aware of my allergy without me even having to ask. The food was great as well and so reasonably priced. Thank you again Sarah!

The food is always so fresh and the staff is always super friendly from the moment you walk through the door! Highly recommend their spicy chicken calabrese or the skirt steak! My kiddos also love the thin crust pizza or garlic parmesan wings! Of all things for an Italian restaurant to have....fresh guacamole & chips (out of this world). So far I haven't had a dish I dislike from there. Lucca's is definitely my family's absolute favorite place to dine in or carry out

Unfortunate Experience at Lucca’s in La Grange this afternoon.
While sitting at the bar having a drink, there was a very public altercation between who appeared to be the owner/manager and an employee. The owner was yelling at the employee, and the situation escalated to the point where the employee quit. The employee remained calm, thanked the owner/manager, and attempted to leave, but was followed into the dining room while the owner continued yelling in front of patrons. Several employees gathered around watching, which made the scene even more awkward.
Afterward, the owner returned and loudly announced that “the problem was gone” and that people needed to “take a look in the mirror.” Unfortunately, it seemed like advice that wasn’t being taken personally.
The whole situation felt extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. We immediately closed out our tab and left. It’s especially disappointing because we’ve ordered from Lucca’s at least once a week, but seeing an employee treated that way makes it hard to want to support the business going forward. Was posted on nextdoor. Wanted people to know.

We got sat next to a cold door in a corner when the rest of the place was largely open. We don’t enjoy being tucked in the corner where there also was no room.
The service was every 15 minutes, we didnt get the chance to order a second beer.
The food was overpriced. $8 for a coors, $20 for pasta with ONLY red sauce. The world’s worst steak salad ($20) comes with candied nuts which were stale, old frozen sous vide steak somehow burnt and devoid of all flavor. The lettuce isn’t fresh, and the dressing was sour.
We took our awful food to go.
I will be going out of my way to tell people to avoid this place.
Also, there is no rhyme or reason to prices on the pizza menu. Found that to be a bit annoying.
Nice decorations.
