- NJNanatte JonesDec 11, 20252.0First of all and for the record, I love CAVA. I’ve been going to CAVA a little over a year mostly to the one location in Vernon Hills. When the Kildeer location opened up I was excited because it’s a little closer to my home. But today, I had a disappointing experience. I came into the restaurant about 3:45 PM. There was only one party in front of me which was a woman with three children. They took FOREVER to get their order together and I felt they took their time on purpose. And instead of someone coming to help me I waited for at least 15 minutes before someone came out to get my order. And when they did, no apology and a smaller amount of food than I usually get. Also, I inquired about one of the drinks and the young man said they were out due to not having one of the ingredients so I opted for another drink. When I went for a refill, lo and behold, the drink I originally wanted was available! Very disappointed by the service I received. Again, I love CAVA but not feeling the Kildeer location after today’s experience.
