  Ordered 2 pizzas, 8pc wings and breadsticks for dinner tonight at 7pm for delivery, which was routed through DoorDash which was surprising as they normally do their own delivery. By 8pm, the order had gone through 5 drivers not wanting to wait. At 830pm my husband went to the store directly to wait for the food or get a refund and he was told they were “getting things ready” At 9pm he was still waiting and was then told they were remaking one of the pizzas because they couldn’t find it and it would be another 10 minutes at least. By the time the order was bagged the food was cold except for the remade pizza. The store was noticeably short staffed on a Saturday with no management in the building according to the employee at the front. 2 1/2 hours for pizza and wings is ridiculous, the only reason we waited was because the employee there could not guarantee any refund if we cancelled the order since management was not around and we could “try calling in the morning”. Management should be present on a busy night like this and have a plan in place when the store becomes overwhelmed with orders.

  If you don’t mind waiting in a cramped lobby full of waiting customers while the workers take their time and more to make your food it’s okay at best. Workers seem in no hurry, who seems to be the manager is just letting the workers do the job while they sit at the computer doing perhaps their weekly inventory? This place could use some management that cares cause they definitely have a big customer base here.

  This is my go-to Pizza Hut, even if the Shorewood location is my delivery store 99% of the time I would rather pick up at this Essington location. I place my order online and my pizza is always ready when I get there.

  I’d give no stars. 8:40 and I just needed a quick pizza. I know it’s close to closing time by 20min. But atleast answer the phone and tell me. Not hang the phone up on me then let the phone ring after I call back. Bad service.
