As long as I remember, everything has always been marked up at the store compared to other stores. Right now we are living in a very terrible time as Americans as the cost of living continues to go up and so many people are going hungry . Currently, Congress and a lot of the politicians in it are actively fighting to take away Snap benefits, and have already won the fight in causing many children in this country to go starving. They are very proud of that too. What Really irritates me is that more businesses that you buy food from Should really get involved and try to fight to bring these overwhelming prices down but do not . They will happily profit and take your money and continue to sell us poisonous food products to you as long as their stock keeps going up and they keep hitting record high profit all the while, paying their workers, a barely livable wage and practically giving no benefits to their employees. This is an absolute horrible way to live and to enable businesses to treat us like this . Maybe someday we can all go shopping and not feel extremely anxious about putting food in our cart and checking out and be able to feed our families without having that gut sinking feeling that you were on the edge of poverty. That’s not today and we all know it. We should all really stop pretending and start holding institutions accountable for this extremely hard and depressing life that we are all living. Enough is enough stand up start speaking out. These high prices are just ridiculous.
