Jefferson Street in Joliet, IL, we were immediately met with dirty tables, overflowing garbage cans, and some of the most unwelcoming staff I have ever encountered. Despite the restaurant being completely empty, we were rushed through the ordering line as if there were numerous customers waiting behind us. We were not offered drinks or chips and guacamole, which we had planned to purchase. Instead, our order was quickly rung up by an extremely arrogant cashier. When we asked for hot sauce, the cashier replied, “There’s some over there,” while pointing to the area between the beverage machines. Since our order was to-go, this would have required us to unwrap our food, add the sauce, and rewrap it ourselves. Additionally, the utensil containers were empty. When we asked the same cashier for three forks, she handed them to us without a word and walked away. This franchise location urgently needs to be reviewed by someone with authority before conditions deteriorate further. Due to the unsanitary state of the dining room and the visibly filthy food preparation area, this experience warrants reporting to both the Will County Health Department and the Illinois Department of Public Health.

Went here with my boyfriend and the white brunette girl working the first counter was already being weird and rude. By the time she was helping my boyfriend with his order, she got mad and walked away and started talking shit about him to her coworkers for talking too quietly.. seriously? Service was absolutely terrible, workers are stingy on giving portions and try to up-charge you for random things.

I got charged for carne asada and asked for that and didn’t realize until I got home I got the wrong thing, I was out of it after a hard workout. I ordered in store and I had to repeat myself multiple times to the girl taking my order. Not to mention, there was another time I came to this restaurant and witnessed an employee touch credit cards that were on the floor with her gloves, and continued to serve food with the contaminated gloves.

I was able to go through the app and get a voucher to correct the meal. I appreciated how simple and easy it was. When I got to the restaurant the attitude I was greeted with was unacceptable. The manager there was nasty towards me and my friends. Maybe if she trained her employees correctly she would not need to have an attitude when a customer comes in to correct a meal they got wrong. Hopefully she can make the adjustments needed!
