I have tried the cheese steak, cheeseburger, chili dogs, and chocolate cake on 4 different visits and didn't like any of it. The chocolate cake is very bland, not chocolaty at all and the chili dogs were horrible. I couldn't chew the casing - ugh. It was extremely messy on a thin paper boat that felt like a coffee filter. The chili was not chili but pork n beans in a mustardy sauce. I'm so disappointed and so over trying to make it live up to the hype.

I asked the front person multiple times how long for my food, he said they were waiting on fries. He looked at my receipt and not once did he offer me my drink cups. I asked him where I can get my drink, he said to grab my cup. The cups package weren’t even opened. So I had to open it and get my cups instead of being provided a service. Afterwards, I had to ask for the 5th time for my food and thats when I was finally given my food. I seen other customers get their orders before me, I waited 28 minutes to get my order. If you’re trying to get a quick bite, DO NOT STEP I TO PORTILLOS HOMEWOOD. The guy in the front end that day needs more coahing & training on how to take care of paying customers. And the fact that while I was waiting for my food, a Portillos employee got fries before customers, before me when I asked for my food MULTIPLE TIMES. I was ignored, provided a disservice & never again will I step into this location, I will sure let all my friends and family to avoid this location
