KKC just opened on Lake and I heard good buzz so I stopped in. The kitchen area is very clean. No doubt; it’s new! The chicken tenders I got were very thick in size and covered with a crunchy, peppery coat. I ordered the box of three with fries and sure I could’ve finished it, but two strips probably would have been enough! The original sauce is like a sweet garlic lemon flavor. Honey mustard was good too. The fries are thick, cut steak type that could’ve been cooked a little longer. I got the original biscuit side, which wasn’t super impressive; very sweet. I’ll try some of the other options next time. The counter staff is friendly enough. If I’m on the run and looking for quick and tasty fried chicken, I’ll stop back! (No indoor seating.)
