- KTKelly TrueloveApr 23, 20265.0Visited the Gurnee Tropical Smoothie recently and used my app to order. Had the most wonderful experience, Sydra turned my husband into a smoothie guy. She took the time to see what his likes were and blended him up something amazing. He was so thrilled he wrote down the recipe so he could order it again. I live in Florida and used the app to order a smoothie, unfortunately I failed to notice the location was still set to Gurnee. I went into the location and explained my mishap and they were completely short and not willing to help. They told me to call the Gurnee store. I did call the Gurnee location and they explained that they could’ve been more helpful. I went back in the store while still on the phone with the young lady. She explained to me as well as the workers in the Florida location that if I had done that in their location they would taken care of me. Sydra the assistant manager called me back as soon as she was available and ensured me that she was able to process the return. What an amazing gesture, I can’t thank her and the other associate enough. That kind of customer service should be commended. Thank you Gurnee Tropical Smoothie. I wish you worked here, I’d probably come everyday.

In all honesty I avoided this place because last time I was here it was not so good. This is an absolute 180 from last visit. I will definitely be back. Super nice staff keep up the great work!
- NHNancy HuffmanApr 22, 20261.0I was excited to try Tropical Smoothie Cafe for the first time - but I was quickly disappointed. I was expecting something “close “ to photo examples. Instead of a wrap, I got a soggy burrito. Instead of maple kissed sweet potatoes, I got potato jerky nuggets. :-(
