  Although place is fine, if youre going through drive through i would always double check your order when placing it with the employees outside. They messed up my order. I specifically stated a lrg bacon hamburger combo with 6 piece tenders. I found out later i got charged for a sm combo DOUBLE Bacon burger. Keep it mind my original order is close to $21.65 as i get this everytime while the double bacon burger order is $23.18 with a small fry and not a large. This is the 2nd time this location has messed up like this. Id rather go to the portillos on butterfield iird on downers grove. I never do reviews but i am pretty annoyed. Cant even take a simple order

  I ordered two Burger perk + chopped salad. The salad was about 15 bucks. Unfortunately, they didn't write that it contain bacon so I after I ate half of it, I noticed that unfortunately they should write on it. The ingredients, especially bacon. A lot of people don't eat bacon or Christian juice Muslim

  I pass by 3 other Portillo's and drive almost 30 minutes to the Glendale Heights location. The service AND food seem to be better at Glendale Heights, especially the salads! (I wish the lemon cake slice would come back for good).

  Yesterday we visited Portillo’s after our children’s baptism with a group of 18 people, which is no small order! Jaipreet took care of our entire order, and he was absolutely wonderful. He was patient, polite, and incredibly kind, and never once seemed stressed or annoyed by our large group. He made the whole process smooth and easy for us. Shout out to the entire Portillo’s staff as well! Our big order came out correct, hot, and delicious, and everything ran so efficiently. We truly appreciated the great service and positive attitude from the team. Thank you for helping make a special family day even better!

  I came here with my at-the-time girlfriend in 2010. We were in a long distance relationship. She was from Texas. They don't have Portillo's in Texas (or at least they didn't in 2010). So she pronounced it "poor•tea•yoze", which most people don't realize is the correct/authentic pronunciation of the name. En español, the "double L" (ll) is pronounced like a "Y". We've been broken up for over 15 years now, but I still pronounce "Portillo's" as "poor•tea•yoze".
