Let's get straight to business. I visited this location with my son Camden and promised him we would be getting five guys. If I am going to be honest I was distraught when I discovered it was a restaurant. We came with the impression that we were going to get FIVE GUYS. If anyone else has the same confusion this is a burger joint and a place to meet other men. Thumbs down I do not recommend this.

I think they need to give these kids more staff. 4 people on a Saturday night is kind of crazy. But they did an amazing job.

Not a good representation of the Five Guys franchise at all. We ordered two burgers, a small fry, and two drinks for over $40—price wasn’t the issue. The issue was the quality: the cheese wasn’t melted, and when I picked up my burger, the bun fell apart into pieces. I asked for lettuce and got three tiny pieces of the white core. The burger was also supposed to have bacon, but it came with about a third of a slice.
My daughter and I each took one bite, threw our burgers away, and ended up going to Chick-fil-A instead. Overall, it was a horrible experience. Hopefully your visit you’ll have a crew that cares.

Had a pickup delivery order and the kids working were already in a bad mood arguing when I came in. The one guy yelled out the order name and had it bagged all sloppy. I had to retold the bag and push the sticker down and it still looks like I messed with the food. I mentioned something to the employees and they proceeded to say it looked fine and laughed about it. Kid with long brown hair needs an attitude check and shouldn’t be working around customers. He was swearing and clearly not happy to be working. The kid with blonde hair who bagged the order was fine he actually tried to fix the problem and was sincere. The kid with long brown hair was slamming stuff and swearing and was the one that laughed in my face with a sarcastic response. I wouldn’t have employed a kid like that when I ran my business in a million years. i wasn’t going to say or do anything but he proceeded to laugh in my face about it. I hope the customer doesn’t complain about how sloppy the bagging was. It makes sense why this place is dead on a Saturday night, nobody wants this type of service. For a reputable place like five guys I’d expect better, I sure won’t spend my own money here. The picture is after five minutes of me refolding snd replacing the tamper proof sticker

I'm so proud to have eaten a great establishment with great service. They messed up an order we got back a while ago and Trevor handled it no problems and make everything in an Elite fashion. This is how all chains and restaurants should operate. People spend their hard earned money trying to enjoy a meal out chains and restaurants should prioritize that and do what is needed to make the customers happy. Thanks Five Guys in Geneva IL!
What is the Five Guys story/How did you guys get your name?
Five Guys began its pursuit to redefine the global burger landscape in 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell asked three of their sons whether they wanted to start a business or go to college. Now, three decades after our first location opened in Arlington, Va., Five Guys – a fast-casual restaurant chain named for the Murrells' five sons – serves a classic take on hamburgers, fries and milkshakes in more than 1,700 locations across 24 countries.
You can read more about the story of Five Guys at www.FiveGuys.com!
How many restaurants does Five Guys have?
As of January 2026, we have more than 1,900 locations in over 24 countries!
Does Five Guys offer delivery?
Most North American locations offer delivery. The best way to find out if the location nearest to you offers delivery is to visit our website or download the app.
Additionally, we work with all major third-party delivery companies in the U.S., including DoorDash and Uber, so feel free to search for Five Guys through their platforms!
Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.
While our crew members do all they can to avoid it, there is always a risk of cross-contamination. Please review our nutritional, ingredient and allergen chart for the most accurate information.
Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
Why is Five Guys switching from a fry cup to a fry bag?
We are switching to fry bags to ensure your fries stay fresher and as part of our larger commitment to the environment. The bags allow air to circulate better, so fries stay fresh during delivery and takeout. Same portions, same great fries – just smarter packaging that’s also better for the environment.
