I ended up leaving without getting what I wanted because I was tired of waiting. I'm always overcharged and end up at the service counter getting a refund every time I go in this store either being overcharged or coupons that I clipped not coming off. They have one good cashier. - BBBarbara BertokNov 4, 20251.0I have been a loyal Jewel shopper for years and I have no complaints with the personnel, merchandise or prices at the Jewel in Frankfort on Lagrange road. I am, however, now disabled and the only practical way for me to shop at a large store is to use a motorized cart. There have always been too few of these carts available for the disabled coming to this store and there has always been a problem navigating the store with displays at the end of almost every aisle. There even are displays that block people in motorized carts from using the restroom. Now, however, they have moved the few motorized carts they do have from convenient places at the entrances to the store to various spots within the store with one cart, if any, at each spot. It appears they have done this to give them even more room for display at the entrances. They might as well put up a sign saying: "If you are disabled, you are not welcomed here. Take your money elsewhere." The Marianos down the street is where I will be shopping from now on because they wisely use the entire immediate entrance to the store for about a dozen motorized carts and they have moved the walking carts inside the store.
