I am of Hispanic nationality. I have had baggers walk away the second I come to the check out line when they JUST bagged the white customers cart in front of me. I have had white cashiers not say a single word to me not even hello, not even when I say hello first, when they were just having a full on conversation with the white customer in front of me. This has happened well over 10 times. I have never experienced this type of blatant racism in my life. The only two good experiences were with a male Hispanic who was so helpful and kind in helping me find something in the store and a kind black woman who was checking me out at the register, who actually said to hello to everyone in line not just the white folk. If you are anything but white you WILL be treated differently at this jewel.

Finally after 2 employees they got it unjammed ans handed me a ripped 10 dollar bill. Ended up leaving and not purchasing what I wanted after the lady had an attitude. Went to aldis across the street where they were more than helpful and freindly and got everything I needed. Do better jewel osco. In another instance, when they have the sales with the digital coupons, the employees that check you out, refuse to honor the prices listed on the app, which is also very frustrating. Why advertise a product for a sale price and not honor it? Seems pretty shady to me. Done wasting my time and money at a dead end suck up place. Go to pick n save, aldis, Meijer or Walmart if you want better prices and freshness and actual honored sales prices....
