  We placed an order for pickup scheduled at 6:05 pm. I arrived about 10 minutes early, and the employee handed me the order from underneath the counter. However, I didn’t receive the text notification that the order was ready until 6:04 pm. We ordered three burgers, and unfortunately all of them were raw inside, and the buns were already very soggy (we didn’t have condiments on the buns). We also ordered a side of mac and cheese, and the pasta was overcooked and the sauce was watery. Given the condition of the food at pickup, it raises some concern about how long it may have been sitting before being handed to us. Because of these issues, the meal was not enjoyable and we were unable to eat it. I’m sharing this feedback in hopes that food quality and pickup timing can be more consistent in the future. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be back. (Order # PGcjZxXbk1rT) RESPONSE: Yes, it was Docs… I gave you our order number. Lastly, the meat was raw, multiple people around us agreed.

  Came in today with a large party of 11. Was seated in a timely manner everyone was friendly and food came out quickly one or 2 dishes at a time which was nice as it didn't sit under a warmer until everything was ready. Everyone liked the food. Will definitely be back. We stayed after eating and visited each other for a bit and didnt feel rushed out even though the place was busy.

  I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service I received today. After waiting over 30 minutes, my wing order was prepared incorrectly despite me clearly stating the type of wings I wanted. When I pointed this out and requested a refund, I was met with visible irritation rather than professionalism. Instead of addressing the mistake appropriately, I was abruptly handed the wings and told, “Here, they’re done,” with no apology or acknowledgment of the error. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of accountability from management. I believe the manager was one of the men wearing glasses, though it was unclear who was actually in charge. Neither individual apologized, offered compensation, nor attempted to de-escalate the situation. The only response I received was, “We’re fixing it right now,” which did not address the poor service or attitude displayed. Additionally, the young lady at the counter appeared to be the source of the order error, yet I was treated as though I was the problem. The overall demeanor of the staff felt dismissive and unwelcoming. I could not ignore the uncomfortable feeling that I was being viewed negatively simply for speaking up about a mistake that was not mine. I accepted the wings only because it was Super Bowl Sunday and I had already waited an unreasonable amount of time. However, this experience has completely turned me off from returning. Poor service, lack of accountability, and an unprofessional atmosphere are unacceptable. This was my last visit. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve how customers are treated moving forward.

  Service: I had Doc's tonight with my family, while we were stuck in a hotel room due to illness. When we had a situation arise with Uber Eats (which I almost never use), Doc's took care of us. The customer service was so phenomenal. They went above and beyond. Our cashier was Hannah. She was so lovely. And the manager was also great. Food: I ate the brisket sandwich, and it was phenomenal. I used to live in TX, and brisket was my go-to. I would put this brisket up with any of the places I ate at in TX. My family ate nachos, grilled cheese, and mac and cheese, and enjoyed them all. We also had giant cookies with our meal. Overall: We will be back again when my daughter moves into SIUE this Summer. We don't have barbecue like this in Arizona; I look forward to trying some other things on their menu. Thank you again to the staff. I really appreciate you.

  This was our first time here! My husband wanted some BBQ and I saw this place come up on Google so we stopped in. I’m a vegetarian so I can’t attest to the meat, but I was so glad they offered vegetarian options, this is super important. More importantly, it was clear the vegetarian items were respected by not being cross contaminated with meat utensils or cooked on a meat covered grill. Thanks for that. My husband definitely enjoyed the brisket! The food options were plentiful, though I thought the prices were a *tad* high for the portions! The food was delicious, fresh, seemingly homemade, properly seasoned- I didn’t ever have to add salt. The tea was fresh and had great flavor without being overly sweet! I also enjoyed the cups they came out in. The staff were all super friendly and very attentive. They were quick to take your plate if you were done, check in to see how you were doing, and kept up on wiping tables and resetting them. This seemed like a well mannered family establishment. Even though the workers around were young, they were so well mannered and professional, not one cell phone in sight! Really appreciated that. Clearly raised well. The atmosphere was really calm and relaxed. Nice music, nothing too loud. It wasn’t super busy when we dined in though! Overall, I’d say we’d definitely come back. Very yummy!
