- MVMel V4 days ago1.0What an absolute dumpster fire of an order pickup system. The order time is from 7-8pm, they email my order is ready at 7:45 so I drive over and check in by 8. I check in with the app and get a code stating somebody will be out soon. After 15 minutes and a message “sorry about the delay, we’ll be out soon” message so I call after another 5 minutes. The “voicemail for pickup is full” so I call the main customer service line, get told drive up closes at 8 and am told “let me walkie somebody” and get hung up on. I walked into the store and talked to the poor customer service agent who is aware of the situation but obviously isn’t the one who hung up (bless their soul) and am told somebody will come out. I let them know that I am not the only car out there waiting for this time and service. An older man comes out with my things, reiterates that “we closed at 8” so I tell him, my order was ready and I clicking I’m coming and was here, nowhere on the app says you’re closed at 8 and there’s no option to pick up tomorrow or cancel a pickup and reschedule for next day. Maybe Jewels system and app UI should be better. I had no reason to cop an attitude with him, but boomer man had to start with me so I gave it back to him. I do not fault the store for the app error of not showing hours or explaining the window time (maybe Jewel should have my order ready at the top of the hour then…) and would be understanding, my review is in regard to being hung up on and the attitude of the man having to finish the job. Oh PS they also gave me the wrong tomatoes but it’s okay because they’re covered in mold anyways!
