Meusel's Dairy Delite

The Dairy Delite is a family-owned, seasonal ice cream store. It is a walk up with no inside seating. The Dairy Delite opens each season in the spring and closes in the fall. The Meusel’s have had a whirlwind love affair with ice cream since George and Yolane jumped in feet first to the ice cream business. Meusel’s Dairy Delite has been in the family since 1986, when they bought a small ice cream shop in Amboy, IL. There was a steep learning curve but the pair climbed the ice cream Everest to sweet ‘with a cherry on top’ success. They were ready for the challenge and took their kids along for the tasty trip. Like Yolane says ‘We bought our kids summer jobs’. This is truly a family business.
