Never, not once in my entire life, have I disrespected, rushed, or spoke with a negative attitude to a worker here, EVER!! I LOVE Five Guys and was thrilled when they opened this location as it’s the closest one to my house, and I’ve spent thousands of dollars here without an issue. I asked why they hung up the phone on me today when I had a question about orders that were already placed, which was how long can I expect to wait for this order, not because I was in a rush, and I made that incredibly clear and coherent. No “anger” displayed at all. I did this so I can let the people waiting for the food KNOW how long they can expect me to wait, as I know SOME Five Guys locations (maybe all) don’t make the french fries until the person who’s picking up the order arrives. I did this to conserve MY time, YOUR space, and to let the parties waiting for the food know. Nothing wrong and it’s what is expected of us. Feel free to check those cameras. 🙂👍 I have no idea how this was even possible to misinterpret. When I realized the communication between me and first worker wasn’t clear, I spoke to the other worker who wasn’t specifically super hands-on with anything about timing, and said RIGHT AWAY “absolutely no rush at all by the way. He calmly responded “2 minutes”. I thanked him and told him I’ll be back by then. Came back 5 minutes later to be safe, which is where I was greeted by the manager refusing to give me what I came to pick up and claiming that I’m giving his employees “crap”. And I can’t stress this ENOUGH, not ONCE did I say something that could’ve been comprehended as “disrespectful”. I tried to de-escalate the situation (which I’ve never in my whole life had to do at any establishment) by explaining the HONEST truth, where I was called lazy and problematic by the person who is supposed to run this restaurant. Blasphemous. The only person DELIBERATELY disrespected in this entire situation was me. When I finally was told how long I can expect to wait, I waited a little bit longer to be safe while I called one of the people waiting for their order to update them, just to come back to see the food ready, but being declined by the manager. The only bit of genuine “anger” I felt for the FIRST TIME was walking away knowing I won’t receive the orders after waiting patiently. No one in this entire business can try to pull the victim card on me, especially not the “disrespected employees”. Absolutely preposterous. Getting the issue resolved required a 40 minute phone call that I had to make. Very time consuming and extremely unconventional and frustrating for the people that already placed the orders and paid for them. Me bringing them the food is what’ll determine the quality of BOTH me and the restaurant’s service, and as of right now, I know the parties involved are certainly very disappointed, including me, if not particularly me. Spend crazy amounts of time and money here just to get portrayed as the “villain” in the end. Nothing I did, said, or pursued was disrespectful or negligent towards the service provided. I had all the time in the world and made that known. Nearly forgot to mention, I was also told that I’m “banned for life” from here and that service towards me will be declined every time. This happened at around 9:10 PM on February 22, 2026 (today). Thanks anyway for the service and I hope people come to notice.
