  Got the wrong order delivered to me, even though the photo of them picking it up was correct. They left the wrong order at my house… when I messaged the driver they said to call for a refund, I have been on hold for 30 mins while the look it up? Like come on! Horrible experience

  On 4/15/26 around 9:40pm, I was having a comically bad day and wound up walking in the pouring rain with no umbrella or coat. It's a long story on how that happened, but I decided that I'd stop at Sonic for some mozzarella sticks so that I could at least enjoy something nice before walking 25 minutes home in the rain. I was super embarrassed and down about it, but Kenny met me with so much compassion and sympathy. I felt seen on one of the worst days I've had in awhile. He gently encouraged me to dry off in the bathroom, and I really want to thank him for helping me maintain some level of dignity in that moment. He also offered to let me sit inside until I was dried off. I will never forget this interaction. Good people still exist, and one of them is named Kenny from the Sonic in DeKalb! Thank you again for your help :)

  I don’t leave reviews often but my experience was so awful it felt necessary. Staff was rude and my drink tasted like battery acid. I’m assuming the sprite ran out of syrup I had to dump it out. My husband got a lemonade based drink and it was so extremely sweet he also could not drink his. Very disappointing as we only came for drinks this was a complete waste of money as nothing was able to be consumed. I noticed a review for the same time we went 2/22 at 5:00pm. This seems to be an issue with the staff on but I know I’ll never be returning.

  worst time ever at sonic 2/22/26 5:38 pm we got here and when we order this lady comes out and she seems so ignorant once it gets to the drinks she gets all sassy because we misheard her and she was rushing us this whole time nobody was in here but us and drive thru was already covered, and I felt unsafe eating the food because in the kitchen her and her friend it looked like, they were laughing a little too hard before giving us our food. I have been to sonic for years and this has never happened ever I cant believe it to be honest sonic went from 5 stars to one for me.
