We will be pulling our prescription from this location. Niisha needs to take DEAI classes. If you are black she feels like she doesn’t have to explain anything to you. I was very embarrassed the way she treated me. She treat your customers like they don’t belong. She was even rude to one of the employees. Don’t go to this pharmacy at Jewel-Osco in Crystal Lake. Niisha is not a nice person. She should be ashamed the way she treats black people and her team. This is medical bias and racism looks like.

They gave me rotten vegetables, smashed my bread, every can was dented, meat and produce was a soupy mess in one bag, boxes were crushed…if it was one thing I’d think it was an accident. This was no accident. As a single mom I want to cry. All this food gone to waste! I am beyond disappointed. $80 grocery order was destroyed and that was my budget for the week. I contacted corporate and a refund will take two days. So in the meantime, I guess we’re out of luck??? Thanks jewel. If you hate your customers so much, close your doors.

I can’t ignore that this interaction felt rooted in bias — and unfortunately, it reflects a pattern I’ve noticed at several Jewel-Osco locations. It’s disheartening to see inconsistency and discriminatory behavior in a place where everyone should feel respected and valued as customers. I’m sharing this because I hope your company takes action to train staff properly and address bias. No one should have to experience that kind of treatment while simply trying to shop for their family.
