- TTTay TomalFeb 17, 20261.0I haven't been to a 5 Guys in a long time, and this recent visit confirmed why. I'm not going over the value of the food as they have no control over it. But the burger patties were nearly tasteless, and the ingredients didn't taste fresh at all. I placed the order online, and after 20 minutes of waiting (the app said 'In process' status), I walked up to the counter and the staff were ignoring me. I had to grab their attention a bit. Despite multiple people waiting for food, they weren't calling out orders, and were just placing the bags on a shelf against the wall, behind the counter. You had to ask them to grab the food. The bags and receipt were very greasy. And 30 minutes since placing order, the food wasn't marked as even complete yet. The atmosphere came off like the crew didn't really care, but they weren't rude by any means. And the value, although not the stores fault, is obviously bad. Very turned off by the mush of a burger, and the not great experience. I wasn't expecting amazing, but you can get better service very easily anywhere else.
