I recently visited the Dairy Queen location with my daughter, while my fiancé and a friend waited outside. While we were standing in line behind a father and his children, the owner began speaking negatively about my fiancé due to a past connection involving a former employee. What made this especially uncomfortable was that these comments were said loudly enough for both my daughter and me to clearly hear.
This was disappointing and inappropriate behavior to witness as a customer, especially in front of children. Personal matters should never be discussed publicly in a way that makes guests feel uncomfortable. I expect a higher level of professionalism from someone representing a business.
Because of this experience, we will no longer be giving this location our business. There are plenty of other great local options, like Julie Ann’s Frozen Custard, that provide a much more welcoming and respectful environment.
I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and handles situations like this more appropriately in the future.

I have been coming here with friends and family for years. The past two times I have gone my experience was terrible. Two weeks ago my boyfriend wanted to try the Savannah Banana split shake so we went at 8:30 pm. They close at 9pm. The worker gave us an eyeroll and even scoffed at us and another family who walked in afterwards. Super sassy and super rude and didn’t reply when I said have a good night. Today we went back, and my boyfriend asked for that same shake and the worker said she had never even heard of it. It was right there on the menu. So my boyfriend had to get something else because she seemed like we were ridiculous for even asking for that shake. Very disappointed and will not be coming back to this location.

My only experience with this Dairy Queen was unfortunately nonexistent. On Thursday, March 19, 2026, DQ was having a free ice cream cone day, but by the time I arrived, there was a sign on the door that said “Sold Out of Ice Cream” I think that the employees just did not want to work. Because, how can you be “sold out” of ice cream you weren’t selling? 🤣 (written 3-29-26)

I came in late one evening, close to closing for some delish ice cream. Katrina and Elena happily greeted my friend and I. They made great conversation and great ice cream. We both enjoyed our dessert and will be heading back to this location!
