  If you shop at the Jewels and haven’t met Kathy at the customer service desk, are you even shopping at the Jewels? Kathy is the undisputed queen of the Jewels customer service desk. Returns? Handled. Questions? Answered. Problems? Solved before you can say “I forgot my rewards number.” She runs that desk like it’s mission control for the entire Jewels. I’m convinced the front end of the Jewels doesn’t fully function unless Kathy clocks in. And then there was the walkie talkie incident. Another employee turned in a walkie talkie that had been found in the parking lot at the Jewels. The way Kathy reacted? Academy Award worthy. The gasp. The dramatic pause. The “HOW does a walkie talkie end up in the parking lot?!” You would’ve thought we’d just recovered a lost artifact. I half expected her to call a press conference at the Jewels customer service desk. But that’s what makes her the absolute gem of the Jewels — she cares. About the customers. About the store. About the sacred walkie talkies of the Jewels. Her energy is unmatched. I looked around and honestly wondered if the rest of the Jewels staff were on low battery mode while she’s running at 110%. Pure gold. The crown jewel of the Jewels. Five stars isn’t enough — someone get this woman a trophy and a secured holster for the Jewels walkie talkies.

  Be careful! This jewel rips customers off. For instance red grapes today with digital coupon 99 cents pound, looked thru the section, found grapes. Rang up almost $9. Coffeemate shows digital coupon 2.99, coupon says coffee mate creamer. Limit 2, at register got charged almost $12. Gloria manager said coupon isn't good for sugar free. Over to service desk for refunds and fiasco. Went to dairy section spoke to manager, he said its harry Potter creamer. Where does it say harry Potter creamer. I told him about the grapes he said that he will look into it, I told him okay so will I and I go back to the produce section, the person in charge of the produce section cut me off intentionally and started pulling all of the candy grapes that they put in the 99 cent section. This jewel is known for pulling fast ones, selling moldy produce and trying to tell you it's not mold. be careful and check your receipts. Gloria you think you're a good manager, absolutely not, no excuse to have such few registers open on busy weekend hours and so many people complain about you and your attitude towards paying customers leaves a lot to be desired you need specialized training. From now on when I find things like this going on I will immediately post pictures on Google for people to see what is going on here

  The deli was poorly staffed. There was only 1 person working at 5.30p with several customers waiting. I waited about 30 minutes to get my order.

  Ninja Gloria would rather argue than accommodate a customer all because of their misleading signage. That’s why she’ll be working at Jewel for the rest of her life and she doesn’t even do a good job at that.
