  Tropical smoothie is my fav “fast food” option so I’ve been to several different locations over the years. The tropical smoothie on E Madison had great service, was super helpful and welcoming, and made my order perfectly. Thank you!

  Visited this location with three friends, and unfortunately the experience was frustrating from start to finish. We arrived together as a group, and right away there was confusion at the register. When my friend tried to order, the employee training the cashier told her she needed to point out the item on the menu because the cashier was new—which felt inappropriate and not something customers should be responsible for. Each of my friends was able to order before me, but when it was my turn, I was told I had to wait to place my order until the trainee “caught up.” I ended up standing there for about 10 minutes before I could even order. Because of that delay, my food didn’t come out until after my friends had already received and finished theirs. On top of the wait, multiple items were incorrect: the turkey bacon ranch was missing bacon, a smoothie had protein added that wasn’t requested, and a flatbread came with chicken instead of sausage. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially for what should have been a quick stop. Between the delays, poor communication, and incorrect orders, it took much longer than expected and didn’t meet basic expectations.

  This location only staffing 1 person in the morning is ridiculous. It takes forever to get your order. Several people waiting to place a order, I order on the app, it's never ready at the time. Yesterday I had to come back and pick up, lucky me I work around the corner. This store needs to have at least 2 people at all times. Please get your employees help!!!!!

  My first visit was a great experience overall—the food and smoothie were absolutely delicious. The only downside was the speed of service. I don’t fault the young woman working; she was doing her best and can only handle so much on her own. It might help to have more than one staff member working at a time, especially in downtown Chicago where many people are on their way to work and short on time.

  Corine and her crew were amazing when I came in on National Açaí bowl day. I frequent this store a lot and never have had horrible experience. Corine especially has been able to manage the floor and keep clients happy. Her customer service is top notch and is one of the main reasons I frequent this specific location often.
