I came in to redeem a free smoothie only to find the that smoothie I wanted was limited-time only. No big deal. I asked for a moment to choose an alternative and switched my order from a sandwich to a flatbread with kettle chips. Unbeknownst to me it was already prepared and he seemed rather annoyed that he had to remake my order. I felt bad and apologized, but explained I hadn’t even paid yet. When I got home and started eating, I noticed the chips were very stale. I checked the expiration date and it read Dec 2025. I reached out to customer service, but they refused any compensation and dismissed the issue, because my order was rang incorrectly. Be cautious. If expired snacks are being served, it raises concerns about the overall freshness of the food.
