  I visited Monti's in Chicago and had a really enjoyable experience. The space has a stylish yet relaxed neighborhood feel, with a cozy atmosphere that works well for both casual meals and drinks. I tried a few menu items and everything was well-prepared, flavorful, and nicely balanced. The ingredients tasted fresh and thoughtfully put together. Service was friendly, attentive, and unhurried, which made the experience comfortable. Overall, it’s a great spot for a laid-back but quality meal, and I would definitely come back again.

  Cheap low quality and definitely not worth the money. This is NOT a Philly cheesesteak! You get a little portion of deep fried frozen Italian beef that they’ll then chop on a flattop. It tastes exactly like frozen White Castle..unseasoned stale beef. Not a fresh seared Philly cheesesteak. Such a disappointment.

  Food is excellent - this is one of my favorite places in Chicago and I come here a few times a month at least. Try the Rocky if you like spicy!

  If you like Philly Cheesesteak then you gotta try it. Very good traditional Cheesesteak as well as some tasty variations. Onion rings are top notch. Good beer selection w several choices on tap.

  Monti’s is the real deal. We ordered the South Side Johnny and the Authentic Philly Cheesesteak with aged cheddar cheese sauce, and both were incredible. The steak was flavorful and perfectly chopped, the bread was soft with just the right bite, and the cheddar sauce was next level. It’s honestly the closest thing I’ve had to a true Philly cheesesteak outside of Philadelphia. If you’re in Chicago and craving an authentic cheesesteak, this is the spot—nothing else really compares. Definitely coming back again.
