  I ordered take out for two. The food was good but not something I would brag about. The greens were sweet (not a fan of sweet greens) I enjoyed the Chicken Rasta pasta and Mac n cheese. The catfish was okay. Nice atmosphere , they play music, but it’s a bit cramped due to small dining area. Not a bad place to get some food.

  I ate dinner here on a Friday evening. The appetizers were great and the service was definitely on point. Dinner selection- the hot honey catfish was salty as well as the collard greens. The Mac & Cheese lacked seasoning. Initially they played light music but around 6:00 pm a DJ started playing as if the place had turned into a nightclub. The soultry vibe of the restaurant became a stereotypical black business that lacked ambience.

  I recently visited Mimi's Craft Kitchen for lunch with my family. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We decided to try a variety of dishes, and every single one exceed our expectations. What impressed me the most was the flavor, everything was perfectly seasoned and incredibly delicious. Even my two teens, who are usually picky eaters, we're genuinely amazed and couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed the food. That alone says a lot! It was definitely a meal to remember. Nyree and her team made this experience even more special. They were very tentative and accommodating for my son who has food allergies. We'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place that truly delivers on flavor and consistency.

  Made reservations for 7pm , stood there for 30min. A couple came in they were going to seat them before us we said no so they seated us sat there another 30 minutes. We asked for water brought us water 10 minutes later . Still sitting finally came to take our order brought us the wrong food had to sit a little longer for the correct order . The boss never came over to talk to us . He sent the waiter over to tell us that one meal was free , it was two of us the whole tab should have been free of charge. Horrible will not be going back .

  I recently dined here with a party of four, and while the food was absolutely delicious, the service unfortunately fell far below expectations. Our meals did not come out together—each dish was brought out one at a time, with significant delays in between. I was the last person to receive my food, and by that point, the rest of my party had already finished eating. To make matters worse, I didn’t receive my drink until my food arrived, despite placing the order much earlier. I was told the bartender was backed up, yet I noticed other tables who arrived after us receiving their drinks without issue. Hoping to address the situation, I asked to speak with a manager. Instead of coming over, the server returned and said the manager wanted to know what I needed—without ever coming to the table. That was very disappointing and felt dismissive. After I finally finished my meal, a staff member approached and began clearing our glasses while stating that they needed the table, which felt rushed and unprofessional given the earlier delays we experienced. I truly wanted to love this place, especially because I value supporting Black-owned businesses, and the food itself was excellent. However, the service experience overshadowed everything else. I hope improvements are made, because this restaurant has great potential—but based on this visit, I’m not sure I would return.
