I took back today no apology nothing how can food sit in store for 3 years. Prices are to high. I usually shop in South Holland totally different atmosphere. In this store only a few courteous helpful employees. I moved in the area awhile ago. And only shop here to save on gas.

I left and went to Mariano’s where every self-checkout lane was open and they still had a regular lane available. That’s how service should work. What I don’t understand is why the service in Black neighborhoods continues to be subpar. Associates rarely greet you, vendors walk past without speaking, and management walks by without acknowledging customers. And who makes up the majority of shoppers here? Black people. We deserve better. We shouldn’t have to leave our own neighborhoods just to receive decent service. I’ve been coming to this location for years. I usually overlook the minor issues, but today was just plain unacceptable.
