Okay so I go through all that nonsense clip the coupon saved on my phone pay for it and get home and look at my receipt of course been charged full price for both. So disappointing. Lies and deception.

- TKturn keyMar 10, 20261.0Was in checkout the other day and overhearing the two kids working the register complaining about the line, and one said people are too lazy to use self-checkout. Here's another option to consider: maybe people don't want to subsidize your job. I refuse to use the self-checkout. It takes longer than waiting in line, I don't want to bag my own stuff, some of the items don't have codes on them so I can't look them up, or they just don't scan and I have to wait for someone to help me anyway. If I'm buying alcohol I have to wait for someone to come over and check my ID. I come there a lot because I live close, and with the amount of money that I spend on groceries there for my family, I just don't think I should be subsidizing Jewel by doing a service that they should be providing. Don't worry kid, I'll never use the self-checkout again. I don't care if I have one item.
